Level A Submission Guidelines
Please follow the guidelines below before sending your résumé. This will ensure your information is free of transmission errors. Also, in order for Level A to process the required information and add your résumé to our database, these guidelines must be followed.

Do:
1. Forward your resume, by email only, as an attachment in Word, WordPerfect, Text or Rich Text format.

2. Ensure that all information on your resume is current (e.g. employment dates must be current up to the date of submission of your resume; skills listed must be current and not outdated).

3. You will be required to provide the following information in the body of your email upon submitting your resume:
  1. What is your current employment situation?
  2. What are your minimum salary/hourly wage expectations?
  3. Are you interested in Temporary (Full Time or Part Time) or Permanent (Full Time or Part Time) positions?

  12. Are you bilingual/multilingual? In what language(s)?
  13. Include details of your computer skills (e.g. include the version of each application you are familiar with as well as your practical skill level. Note “training only” beside those applications not used in a hands-on environment).
  14. Briefly list the specific tasks/duties you most enjoyed in your previous jobs.
  15. Briefly list the specific tasks/duties you least enjoyed in your previous jobs.
  16. If you have had reception/switchboard experience, how many lines and extensions have you comfortably handled?
  17. Where did you hear about Level A?

4. Please Note: Level A performs key-word searches using our database. The frequency of your skill set matching our job orders will depend on the amount of detail contained in your resume.

Do Not:
1.) Do not use graphics, logos, unusual fonts, or text boxes. Keep it plain and simple. This may involve creating a separate resume solely for our purposes.

2.) Do not use a resume template with hidden tables and cells.

3.) Do not allow characters to touch. Italics and bold are fine as long as the characters do not touch.

4.) Do not allow slashes to touch any of the letters. Add a space on either side of the slash (e.g. IT / IS).

5.) Do not allow underlines or horizontal/vertical lines to touch any of the letters.

6.) Do not include a formal cover letter as part of your resume. If you wish to forward a cover letter, please attach it as a separate file.
