We are seeking an organized and experienced Purchaser for a full-time/temporary position in the Peterborough area.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized and outgoing, with excellent written and oral communication skills and prior experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably in the industrial sector, as the job entails purchasing parts, materials and equipment. B2B Sales experience would also be an asset.

- Proven experience in Purchasing, Procurement or relevant role
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions
- Experience in manufacturing and the industrial sector a definite asset
- Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office and purchasing software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong analytical mindset
- Outstanding organizational skills
